the reason Japanese masters are more well known is because they flood the market with relevant product and adapt to the times .
In the space of ten years Kamiya already had four books out , his followers were impressed by the accuracy and the relatable content .Questions from their childhoods were answered also he does not worry about sales .
They deal with the whys and hows and listen to the audience ,this is why the craft has improved since the 90s .
However if Chinese would not only make cute but do other categories then magazines and books can sell .
Chen Xiao is an example , who's anime waifus are the standard to follow . THere are manty masters that are too shy to publish and dont share c.ps and this is why they wont be known outside of the mainland
