You can start with studying as much as you can/want about the design process/techniques ... then start with simpler own models OR alterations of existing models (as too many people do!) ... In due time you will become more and more experienced/skilled and you'll have the whole origami world waiting in suspense for your next book of hypercomplex creations :-) Good luck!
