And yet another great mask artist: João Charrua from Portugal.
His masks are made from single sheets of paper.
He says: "There is something mysterious and magical about masks. A mask intrinsically carries an energy with which we identify in some way. They are like portals to our imagination."

The towel is folded so much

It is paper, due to wetfolding (watering the paper) it looks like textile.
